| Service
Agreement: Before any work or service, the customer
must sign an agreement stating that he or she understands
the services that will be performed, the expected time of
completion, and the estimated cost to complete the job. Customers
agree to pay 30% of the estimated cost up front as a down
payment, and the remaining balance on the day of completion.
Software:
Due to software piracy issues, customers are advised to purchase
all retail licensed software. We provide the software at its
retail price, and install them when requested. Sarkis PC Repair
makes no warranty with respect to retail software sold by
us, and all software is sold as is with any manufacturer faults.
Payments:
Payments may be made in the form of money order, certified
cheque, company cheque, personal cheque and cash. Order is
held until personal cheques have cleared.
Balance
Due: Immediately following job completion, an invoice
will be submitted to customers who do not pay in full the
day their work is completed and received. Any customers who
breach the service agreement by failure to pay any remaining
balances will no longer receive services until the balance
is paid fully. If non-payment exceeds beyond 30 days, the
matter may be turned over to collections and/or legal action
may be taken.
Refunds/Termination:
Either party may terminate an agreement by giving notice within
24 hours prior to job completion. In the event of termination
due to a customers noncompliance with the terms as stated
in our agreement, any fees that have accrued up to the date
of termination will be required to be paid in full. (This
amount can be subtracted from the customer's original down
payment fee, and an invoice will be issued outlining all fees).
However, if Sarkis PC Repair chooses to terminate the agreement
for any reasons other than these, the customer will be refunded
his/her down payment fee. Sarkis PC Repair reserves the right
to decline any service at its discretion. Customers will be
notified when orders are complete and ready to be picked up
or delivered. Payment in full after job completion is evidence
that a customer is satisfied with the work and therefore will
not be refunded. In the unlikely event litigation is commenced
between the parties of this agreement, the party prevailing
shall be entitled to a reasonable sum for attorney fees.
